Difference between Air-through and Separate Air Bridges

At Tech Sleeves, we manufacture both Air-Through and Separate Air Bridges. These two variations are a delivery method for air to allow the bridge to float on the mandrel.

Air Through Bridge

An Air-Through bridge works by directly providing air via the mandrel. The bridge has air vents that can be lined up with the mandrel and allow the required air to flow. It is a simple method that works well for many printing companies.

Separate Air Bridge

A Separate-Air bridge works using a separate air source that is not the mandrel. This means it requires a separate air source to be added and then connected to the flexo bridge. Airflow and volume are key factors in achieving great results.
